Americas Rifle The 1876 Centennial
A bigger better version of the venerable 1873 the 1876 Centennial was built to be a more powerful rifle for the Winchester line. Introduced in 1876 on the centennial of America’s founding and chambered in the whopping 50-95 cartridge 1876 is an excellent balance of power and capacity. Those looking for a period piece that can still hold its own in the modern-day need look no further, with a compact 20″ barrel and a 4+1 capacity 1876 is well equipped to hold its own. A Favorite of frontiersmen 1876 is a rugged and reliable companion ready for any adventure you take it on. The Texas Ranger “Presidio” edition has a shorter octagon barrel and reduced magazine tube to make a light and handy saddle ring carbine. Escribed on the receiver is “Texas Rangers Co.E- Para Muerte de diablos” which roughly translates to “For the death of devils”
